I’ve been building websites on WordPress since before it was cool — which, depending on who you ask, it still isn’t. But it’s what I know, and I know it well.
I’m self-taught, which means nobody told me how things are “supposed” to be done. I figured out what works by caring too much and refusing to settle for “good enough.” I don’t write code for a living, but I know my way around a theme, and I know when something looks right and when it doesn’t. That’s the part you can’t teach.
What I actually bring to the table: a BA in English, a law degree I use mostly for reading the fine print, and a borderline-obsessive eye for detail. I write, I design, I obsess over typography and white space and whether your site loads fast enough to keep someone from bouncing. I also do interiors, which has nothing to do with websites and everything to do with how I think — if it doesn’t look and feel right, I’m not done.
I don’t do sales pitches. I don’t do jargon. I don’t promise “synergistic brand optimization” or whatever that means. I build clean, fast websites that sound like the people behind them. And I stick around to make sure they stay that way.
